High School Trombone Camp 2025
High School Camps are for:
-
tenor and bass trombone players
-
students who will be 9th (incoming freshman) through 12th grade trombone players for the 2025-26 school year
-
current 12th grade students who'll be graduating and would like the opportunity to play and learn more about their instrument
What we do during the High School Camps:

Help create a personalized warm-up/warm-down plan
-
Masterclasses on specific trombone related topics
-
Middle school scales studies
-
Middle school region level music prep
-
Play in a trombone ensemble
-
Have the opportunity to perform in front of the class/camp if they so choose (optional, not required)

Learn how to prep for auditions
-
Learn how to handle the pressures of auditioning
-
Trombone care (maintenance)
Camp Location: Independence High School (Frisco)
Daily Schedule: (Monday-Thursday)

12:15-12:30 doors open/student drop-off
12:30-1pm Warm-Ups & Trombone Topics
1:00-2:00pm Ensemble Rehearsal
2:00-2:30pm Trombone Topics
2:30-3:30pm Region level music prep
3:30-4:00pm Audition Tactics
4:00-4:45pm Ensemble Rehearsal
4:45-5pm the Warm-Down
5:00pm students are dismissed
Tuition for the 4-day camp: $300

Cost of this camp is, at the very least, similar to other camps.
