How did you end up deciding to play trombone?
I was initially selected onto oboe in beginning band, but after persistent insistence I went onto trombone. There may have been some fictional influences that led to me wanting to play the instrument, and I don’t regret it because of where it has guided me!
Tell us something about yourself.
I was dead last in freshman region auditions and ever since that experience, I’ve been dedicated to learning the instrument more than ever. Culminating since then, I made #1 5A All State and the Sinfonietta Orchestra on Tenor Trombone this year! When I’m not playing trombone, I’m probably trying to write light novels or screenplays. It’s another dedicated passion of mine to maybe one day publish something that works.
